Share your love and knowledge of the coast with thousands of visitors from around the globe and schoolchildren from down the road! Become a docent at the Estuarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab and teach visitors about the animals and habitats that make our coast such a treasure. Docent training takes place Saturday, September 15, from 8:30am to 4:30pm and lunch is provided.

The Estuarium proudly bears the words of Baba Dioum, a Senegalese ecologist, who said, “In the end, we will conserve only what we love; we will love only what we understand; and we will understand only what we are taught.” Help us preserve the coast for future generations by teaching them the value and beauty of our precious environment.
