The Estuarium at the Dauphin Island Sea
Lab will be displaying the “Traveling Pants Show – Delta Denim” from
July 10 to September 10 at the facility. These colorful denim designs
were created in an art competition hosted by the Eastern Shore Art
Center and the 5 Rivers Earth Fest this year. The theme was “What do
you treasure about Mobile Bay and its surrounding lands?”
Over 600 entries from Mobile and Baldwin counties have been narrowed
down to 44 for this unique display of creative art and environmental
science. This exhibit was also shown at the Fairhope Music Festival,
The Eastern Shore Art Center and Hank Aaron Stadium and the Mobile
BayBears. True to their nature, they will be sent traveling across the
country after their display at the Estuarium.
