Contact: Lisa Young 251/861-7509 The Dauphin Island Sea Lab will be open for all educational activities, including field trips, classroom activities and its public aquarium, the Estuarium, on Friday, October 1, 2004. The Sea Lab sustained minimal damage due to Hurricane Ivan, and is now prepared to receive students and visitors to its facility. Dauphin Island Parkway and the Dauphin Island Bridge are open to the public, as are the roads to the East End of the island.
