Foundation Contributes $2,500 to the Dauphin Island Sea Labıs

Contact: Lisa Young 251/861-7509 The Shell Oil Company Foundation recently donated $2,500 to the Dauphin Island Sea Labıs Graduate Student Program. Shell Oil has been supporting the Graduate Student Program since 1983, and its contributions over the years total $80,000. Graduate students at the Sea Lab receive their M.S or Ph.D degree from one of the Sea Labıs 22 member universities; however, the Sea Lab provides students with the faculty and educational and research resources to attain their degree. There are currently 35 graduate students conducting research towards their degree at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. |
