Dauphin Island, AL, October 25, 2002, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.- The Estuarium will be the place to be for the First Annual Dauphin Island SPOOKTACULAR, a freaky and fishy fall festival being put on by the Dauphin Island Elementary PTO and the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. SPOOKTACULAR activities will include: … Spooky Sea World Estuarium tour … Hayride to Fright Beach … Ghost stories on the pavilion … Kids games and craft activities … Parent games … Costume contest … Gumbo, pizza, and dogs to eat … Sweets to treat … Music and much, more! "The participation of other area schools and organizations like Alma Bryant's drama students and Grand Bay Middle School artwork is what makes SPOOKTACULAR a unique and exciting community event," says Roberta Swann, president of the PTO. Money raised from the festival will be used to fund technology and library resources, outdoor improvements, and other educational programs at the Little Red School House. |
