Contact: Lisa Young 334/861-7509 Tidings, the 16-page, biannual newsletter of the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, is now on-line at http://tidings.disl.org. Over the past five years, the mailing list of this informative and engaging newsletter has grown from 500 recipients to 5,000. Supporters of the Sea Lab, including scientists, educators, legislators and many others, have enjoyed the feature articles and calendar items available. Due to recent budget cuts, however, the Sea Lab will be unable to mail a hard copy to our many readers. We hope that they will access Tidings on-line, and still continue to enjoy the variety and quality of feature pieces. |
