Two graduate students from the University of South Alabamašs Marine Sciences Department who are conducting their research at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab have recently received the Annual Nelson Award in Marine Sciences. This Award is funded by the Mobile Jaycees and the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo. 

Masteršs student Cary Burns and Ph.D. student Julien Lartigue accepted the awards for superior performance in Marine Science on Thursday, July 20
