East End of Dauphin Island ADMISSION: Free (Except for reduced admission rate to the Estuarium) MORE INFO: 861-2141 It1s a day of marine exploration and discovery on Saturday, April 8, from 10 am to 3 pm on DISCOVERY DAY AT THE DAUPHIN ISLAND SEA LAB. Bring the whole family down to enjoy a fun-filled day that will be both exciting and educational! Discovery Day will feature: * Open House at the Sea Lab1s Marine Science Hall, the main research facility * Marine Crafts for Kids, take-home activities that will both educate and delight * Touch Lab of local marine specimens * Face-painting * Reduced Admission to the Estuarium, the public aquarium of the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Please note that Discovery Day is running concurrently with the Dauphin Island Spring Fest. Town activities on that Saturday include the Spring Fest Parade; Marine Helicopter Drop; Mobile Rock-Climbing; Rock-A-Thon for Cancer, and much more! |
