ExxonMobil recently donated $31,000 for marine science education to the Dauphin Island Sea Lab (DISL).
Dr. John Dindo, DISL Director of Institutional Advancement, stated, “We are grateful for ExxonMobil’s longstanding partnership with the DISL to promote marine science education in our community.”
“This generous donation will go toward programs for our K-12 educational curricula, teacher-training and college and graduate student fellowships.”
“ExxonMobil has long understood the value of education and stewardship of our coastal resources,” Dr. Dindo continued. “They have been a strong supporter of the DISL’s myriad programs over the years, and we are appreciative of their involvement with the DISL’s mission of marine science education and research.”
