ExxonMobil Donates $38,500 to the Dauphin Island Sea Lab

July 14, 2011

ExxonMobil recently donated $38,500 for marine science education to the Dauphin Island Sea Lab (DISL).

DISL Executive Director George Crozier stated, “ExxonMobil has been a longtime partner of the Sea Lab in promoting marine science education in our community.  The funds that ExxonMobil provided will go towards a wide range of educational programs, including K-12 education, graduate student fellowships and support, and even BayMobile, our travelling marine science classroom that teaches children around the state.

“We’d like to thank ExxonMobil for their continued support of our programs.  We both believe that knowledge is the key to wise stewardship of our treasured resources,” he concluded.
